My Projects
UK Government Natural England Website
Lead Developer - 2019
In 2019, I created the website for Katherine Walsh, a senior environmental specialist at Natural England (DEFRA) for a project alongside the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust about lynx and wildcat reintroduction to the UK. It involved creating a website from scratch, as well as utilising Wordpress features to implement a blog alongside the client's requirements. It was a lot of fun, and the final website was praised both by the client as well as the WCMT.
Gosforth Central Middle School Website
Lead Developer - 2018-2020
Between 2018 and 2020, I was the lead developer on the website of Gosforth Central Middle School. With hunderds of views every single day, it was vital that it provided information to lots of parents who wanted to find out about the school. In the end, I produced a website that satisfied the client's needs; it was eye-catching, easy to use and had forums and contact features in an easy-to-reach place. While the website is no longer available at the original domain, you can view an archived copy of the homepage here.
Please note that many features of the website may no longer work, as this is only an archived copy provided by archive.org
Advent Calendar App
Lead Developer - 2020
In 2020, I made an advent calendar app for the local community throughout COVID-19. It was the first professional mobile app I have developed, but it will not be the last! As well as this, I integrated a donation feature alongside JustGiving and Mind to enable charity donations. I was very happy with the finished product, and also won the UK Points of Light award. You can download the app from the Google Play Store.
